2020/21 Board Elections

06 September 2020

Nominations are now open for the 2020/21 Board.  The Board’s role is to determine the strategic direction of the Otago Southland Employers’ Association.

As with almost every other organisation in the region, we too have been impacted by Covid-19, which has required a step change in how we conduct our organisation, as well as our strategic planning for the future.

We are looking for a diverse group of passionate people representative of our membership to help the OSEA leverage opportunities and navigate the challenges of a rapidly evolving business environment whilst continuing to support and empower our members, and partner for impact.  In particular, we have a need for Board members with expertise in membership organisations, change management, technology, tourism and infrastructure.

The Board’s role is to set policy, determine the strategic direction of the OSEA and support the Chief Executive.  This year we have four vacancies on the Board.

Nominees must:

  • Be existing members of OSEA
  • Be proposed by a member of OSEA
