Workplace Wellness Survey

15 March 2021

We would appreciate your help in filling in this BusinessNZ and Southern Cross Health Society survey considering the scale of absenteeism in New Zealand, how much employers are doing to assist employees with health and wellness, and where there are gaps, if any.  Both private and public sector entities will be taking part.

This year’s survey will also look at the ways Covid-19 has impacted New Zealand workplaces.  Specifically, it will investigate how the pandemic has impacted workplace absence, policies regarding sick leave and whether employees continue to work while unwell, and the extent to which businesses have changed their working from home practices.

Everyone who correctly inputs their allocated ID number will go into the draw to win a wellness package to the value of $500.

We have allocated you a respondent identifier number/code for the survey which is OSEA followed by your company name, eg OSEARangerNZ.

While the health and safety of New Zealand workplaces continues to be an integral part of the survey, Covid-19 has produced a new set of challenges and opportunities for the business community to measure.

The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete, and your responses will be kept confidential and will not be attributed to any business or individual.

If required, once you have started the survey you can save your progress and continue later.

We would be grateful if you would complete the survey before 30 April 2021.

If you have any questions, Anne-Marie McKay will be able to help:
